Skinny Chicken Casesar Salad Wrap & My Giveaway Winners!

Happy Hump Day!

Like my pic? I was trying to get all “Instagram” artsy with my photo editor last night – all of this blogging has made me seriously realize just how techno challenged I really am. I need a “Make Pretty” button! Where’s that button Apple??

Today’s post is going to be short and sweet! There’s not much more to say other than these little wraps have gotten me through Sunday’s dinner… Monday’s dinner… and if soggy lettuce didn’t gross me out so much I’d be all over these again tonight! That’s how much I love this caesar dressing. It’s low cal (26 calories per tablespoon!), dairy-free, and ridiculously easy. Thank you Cooking Light!

Paired with some pan-grilled chicken, chopped tomatoes (from my garden!), and crunchy romaine – these whole grain wraps are weeknight dinner perfect. Cook up your chicken tonight and mix your dressing – and you have dinner for the next 2 nights. Wrap tonight? Salad tomorrow? Throw in some cucumbers, olives, or parmesan too if you like!

Easy peasy.

  1. I love Cesar salad wraps! Never thought a wrap could look so good! Thanks for sharing Kristina!
P.S. I nominated you for the Very Inspiring Food Blogger Award =]

  2. Why can’t I have your taste buds? I’d be so thin….so….thin *sigh*

  3. I wish I had this recipe last night. I ended up cooking chicken fingers but I don’t do it very often because the breading procedure is very labor-intensive. It looks good!

    • Whipped Baking says:

Aw I was just thinking about making chicken fingers for dinner tonight! So funny! But I’m also a little bit too lazy… it’s looking like another plain chicken night instead :)

  4. Delish my dear! Delish!

  5. Oh i love this!! and i love even more that it’s skinny!!

  6. I keep looking for that “make pretty” button, too. Seeeeeeeriously.

(I want this dressingggg. On everythinggggggg)

  7. Looks good! Sometimes the simplest are the best. I don’t have Instagram. I know I am missing out.

    • Whipped Baking says:

Haha its ok – I just got it… and still don’t really know how to use it. If that makes you feel any better :) So excited for our Septembers posts!

  8. I am so making this dressing! Love the idea of a “make pretty” button–I’ve made so many great-tasting things that could have used a little help in the looks department.

    • Whipped Baking says:

Hahah wouldn’t that be so nice?? And let me know if you do! I can’t eat dairy, but if you’re fine with parmesan definitely feel free to throw it in with the salad, I loved this dressing!

  9. I’m drooling. They look so delicious. I’m totally into my wraps and loving all the flavour combos in the dressing. I love chicken in wraps. Fresh cherry tomatoes are so delicious from the garden. I could eat a couple of these right now, despite it being past 2am! Yum!

And, seriously, what? Your photos are always nice. You already know where the ‘prettify’ button is! But yay for a fellow Apple lover too. What do you use to edit your photos with? I use both Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS5.

    • Whipped Baking says:

Haha… I just use the iPhoto that came with my mac…. super professional :) I’ve been really wanting to get Lightroom though! How user friendly is it? I was going to buy it a few weeks back but I was worried I’d spend all that money and then not be able to figure it out….

  10. I love it! I could eat this every day for lunch.

  11. There are days when I SO wish I had a make it pretty button! I think your wrap looks awesome though!

    • Whipped Baking says:

haha we just need to come up with one and sell it to apple. No problem right? We can become billionaires together :)

  12. a make pretty button would make life so much easier :) This looks delicious!! I love casesar and I love that this is low cal!

    • Whipped Baking says:

Thanks April! I love caesar dressing but I haven’t been able to have it in forever bc I can’t eat the parmesan, I was so excited about this recipe!

  13. I love that the dressing will keep for more than a day. My caesar dressing has eggs in it, so I have to use it all at once. I’m going to try this one next time though! Thanks for sharing Kristina. Have a lovely weekend!

    • Whipped Baking says:

Hope you have a great weekend too! It’s absolutely gorgeous in Chicago this morning :) And thanks! I loved that the dressing kept for a few days too – leftovers are key for me, I love coming home to a ready-made (homemade) dinner after a long day!

  14. You have been doing such great Job for your posts. All they seems simple dishes but they look, sound and taste great! I enjoy every one of them.
