Ok sometimes it crawled…maybe even made a few U-turns., but I seriously cannot believe how incredibly fast these past 2 years have flown! I look back and it is so crazy to think of how much has changed since my very 1st post on November 5, 2011. CRAZY.
New jobs…new apartment….new friends…new KitchenAid mixer (Yeaaah!) thank God still same dog…! But so many new things and awesome experiences and I am SO blessed that I get to share each and every step of the way with you all. And I mean it. I absolutely love talking with you all about food, ALL about food, at all times of the day…night…lunchtime. 2am e-mails, early morning blog comments – you all make my day every day. It’s such a cool experience getting to share my favorite recipes with so many awesome people that share the same quirky obsession with all things yummy and delicious as me.
So cheers to you -my fabulous readers! And another year of Whipped kitchen adventures – I made us a delish Sparkling Pear Cranberry Cocktail! Right in time for the holidays – Ok take that in….maybe you actually need a cocktail right now. Another ZOOM… Turkey day is 4 weeks away.
But never fear – these are as simple as 1-2-3…literally. Mix together Pear Juice, Cranberry Juice, and Champagne… done! And DELISH.

Yields 10 servings
- 1 3/4 cup pear juice (Nectar), chilled
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice, chilled
- 1 (750 ml) bottle of champagne, chilled
- fresh cranberries for garnish
- Combine chilled pear juice, cranberry juice, and champagne in a large pitcher. Mix to combine, divide among glasses and drop in a few fresh cranberries for garnish. Serve immediately.
